Illness and Death Support

A diagnosis, or an accident, or worsening symptoms...for you or someone you love. And your world feels instantly upside down. Somehow this is happening to you. Even if you’ve got a decent support system, you may not want to share with them every emotion, confusion, or challenge. Or you may be asking anyone and everyone for support but don’t feel you’re getting the help you need.

I work with people going through significant illness and death, drawing from 16 years of professional chaplaincy experience, including work in hospice and a Level 1 Trauma Center. I will work with you to support your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being even as the body declines. This can include life review, meaning making, addressing unresolved issues and relationships, spiritual end-of-life practices, and traditional religious readings, liturgies, and prayer. The minimum package is 6 sessions over three months, renewing as desired. As you're ready, I can also provide coaching support as you venture into your next chapter of life without a loved one.
